The investment boutique Münchmeyer Petersen Capital Markets (MPCM) is further expanding its technological capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence and is consolidating them in the newly established independent company svrn alpha. The company emerged from a close collaboration between MPCM and Prof. Dr. Tobias Blask and today operates as a subsidiary of MPCM.

Technology hub sets new standards in the financial market

Even during the founding phase of MPCM, Prof. Dr. Tobias Blask supported the company on strategic and technological matters. With the acquisition of Warburg Research at the end of 2025, the use of artificial intelligence became particularly important for research, analysis, and operational management processes. This collaboration generated extensive technological and organizational know-how, which is now bundled in the independent company svrn alpha.

svrn alpha is MPCM’s closely affiliated technology hub for artificial intelligence and modern IT infrastructures. The company develops AI agents and scalable solutions that automate complex processes, improve decision-making, and unlock new efficiency potential.

The goal of svrn alpha is to also provide third-party financial service providers with access to AI-supported processes, governance structures, and modern operating models. The focus is particularly on regulated environments in the financial sector, where technological innovation must be aligned with institutional controllability and regulatory security.

Thorsten Rehmeyer has been appointed Managing Director of svrn alpha; he is also a member of the management board of MPCM.
